MRS. TEXAS 2021
ANN MARIE REIGRUT
In addition to being a loving wife and dedicated mother of two, Ann Marie Reigrut has earned two Master's degrees, served as an officer in the United States Coast Guard Reserves for more than 12 years, and is now working as a Global Emergency Preparedness and Response Advisor for ExxonMobil.
She also actively volunteers with her church’s Youth Ministry, USO, Junior League of The Woodlands, and Girl Scouts of San Jacinto. Ann Marie’s platform is ‘Project Phoenix’, helping to educate others about the prevalence and impact of quality mentoring relationships, as well as to connect young women to personal growth & development, and social & economic opportunity. As a mentor, she has the ability to directly impact the next generation of women; teaching them to be strong, confident, and empowered.
Today’s married women experience a variety of challenges, work towards differing goals, but still look for opportunities to support each other. The job of a titleholder in many ways is to be that of a servant leader. Ann Marie’s experiences as a career woman, mom, military member, and dedicated community volunteer have helped her to become a well-rounded, accomplished, and experienced leader. She is easily able to connect with and advocate for women of all backgrounds and experiences.
She wishes her legacy to be one of impact, and to touch as many lives for the better with the class and dignity that has been instilled in her. Ann Marie wants to showcase that: “From steel-toe boots to stilettos—it’s not the shoes that define you, but the strong woman wearing them”.
